The Aims and Objectives of Bexley Community Policing Engagement Group can be found in the Group’s constitution and included are the following items:
1. AIMS
The purpose of Bexley CPEG is concordant with the provisions of Section 96 of the Police Act 1996. In particular, to provide a forum for effective consultation, to ascertain the views of citizens of the Borough about matters concerning the police and cooperation with the police in preventing crime. 2. TERMS OF REFERENCE
To promote good relations between the community and the police and to promote a joint response to law and order problems within the Borough. |
