CHAIRMAN’S REPORT 2007- 2008

INTRODUCTION

I believe that, in any organisation, change is needed with those people running it in order to expand its views, its horizons, its aims and its ambitions.

It is appropriate therefore that, as my three-year term as Chairman of Bexley Community Policing Engagement Group comes to an end new people, with new ideas, new ideals and new skills have now joined our organisation. They all bring different and diverse skills to what now is a more forward looking group from when I first became Chairman three years ago –and, indeed, when I first joined the former Police Liaison Committee approximately twenty years ago.
